A style expert named Emme posted a video with the message: “You guys know what interior style sucks?”

She then revealed “cheap glam” as her least favorite interior design style.

In the video, she showed pictures of homes decked out in greys and blacks and decorated with large mirrors, fur throws, and large mirrors.

For a “glam” design, think metallic finishes, sparkly decor, and luxe fabrics.

Glam interior design may also include opulent chandeliers, tufted furniture, and fur rugs.

While that may be an ideal style for some, Emme thinks it’s cheap-looking.

It seems lots of people agree with her as over 1.7 million people liked her video.

Additionally, an elegance coach revealed three common mistakes that are making your home look tacky.

Shruti Advani, who talks fashion, finance, and feminism on her TikTok account, detailed her tips for an elegant home in a recent post.

Her first rule was to avoid plastic, which she called “the worst offender.”

Shruti is also not a fan of life-sized wedding portraits.

“Even if they are taken professionally, please don’t put them up,” Shruti begged.”

The last mistake is leaving old magazines around your home.

Meanwhile, a home expert shared how to make your home look instantly more expensive.
